MP International specialises in organising exhibitions, conferences and special events for various industries and interest groups. To date, the group has organised and managed more than 250 national, regional and international events. MP’s success with various partners is a testimony of its ability to identify opportunities and maximise the rewards for win-win partnerships. This has won MP the distinction of being the only homegrown exhibition and conference organiser to receive the Enterprise 50 award for two consecutive years, in 2001 and 2002.
Moving forward, MP is committed to support fellow industry players through its association with the World Events Organisation (WEO). It is a founding partner of WEO, a regional network of professional event organisers. It is also a member of the PICO group.

MP International
has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Shanghai
International Sci-tech Exchange Centre (SISEC) to further
promote and facilitate the exchange of information relating
to exhibitions and science and technology.
Commented Mr Zhou Bin, Vice General Manager, SISEC, "As
we enter the globalised age, SISEC is stepping up bilateral
cooperation with leading organisations that promote innovation
and information exchange. Our strategic partnership with
MP International is a step in the right direction."
For a start, SISEC will give full support to relevant
events in Shanghai which are organised by MP International
and its related companies. These events include those
focused on medicine, health and hygiene.

SISEC is a subsidiary of the Shanghai Association for
Science and Technology (SAST) and handles the associations'
international affairs, including exchange programmes and
exhibitions and conferences.
Founded in 1958, it is the largest scientific institution
in Shanghai majoring in natural science, technology and
engineering. It consists of 180 affiliated societies,
associations and institutions of different disciplines
with more than 175,000 individual members. |
