The Inaugural INTERPOL World 2015 Concluded on a High Note with Vibrant Exchange of Best Practices, Experiences and Technologies Singapore, 20 April 2015
The inaugural INTERPOL World 2015 saw 7,807 government leaders, together with representatives of international organisations and researchers converge to discuss strategies to develop safer and more secure cities. A global platform to develop security solutions for the rapidly urbanising world, INTERPOL World concluded yesterday with potential and new partnerships forged and a stronger collective resolve to develop a more secure, resilient and safer cities for people around the world.
Held from 14 to 16 April, the INTERPOL World Expo, together with the INTERPOL World Theatre and demo area, had showcased the latest developments and technologies from 258 companies globally, while the INTERPOL World Congress closed on 16 April with 437 delegates exchanging ideas in the thought leadership dialogues and business meetings.
Some 1,500 participants expected to converge at the ASEAN Tourism Forum in Myanmar
The ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) will be held in Myanmar for the first time this year. It will take place in the capital city of Nay Pyi Taw. Themed ‘ASEAN – Tourism Towards Peace, Prosperity and Partnership’, ATF 2015 will be held from 22 to 29 January. Some 1,500 participants from more than 50 countries are expected to converge at the event.
Held yearly in an ASEAN city, ASEAN Tourism Forum is the region’s premier travel and tourism fair showcasing the region’s travel products and services. The forum will see a gathering of tourism professionals including tourism ministers and National Tourism Organisation delegations from ASEAN countries, China, India, Japan, Korea and Russia in Myanmar. ATF 2015 is hosted by the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, organised by Myanmar Tourism Federation and managed by MP Singapore and Myanmar Ventures Group.

INTERPOL World series launched
MP enters into long-term partnership with INTERPOL to manage international security event
MP International has been appointed as the event manager of the INTERPOL World
series, an international security event owned by INTERPOL and supported by the Singapore Ministry of Home Affairs. This biennial event will be held in Singapore from 14 to 16 April 2015.
The 3-day event will highlight public-private partnership and include the INTERPOL World
Expo, the INTERPOL World
Congress and the INTERPOL World
Dialogue. It is expected to attract the participation of 250 international and local exhibitors and 8,000 trade and professional visitors.
Set to be the best and most effective platform for the security industry, INTERPOL World
will be held in conjunction with the official opening of the INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation (IGCI) in Singapore on 13 April 2015. In the same week, INTERPOL will also be holding its 22nd Asian Regional Conference in Singapore and attended by over 40 member countries from the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific. INTERPOL’s highest authorities will invite Heads of States, Chiefs of Police and delegates of its 190 member countries to grace the opening of both the IGCI and the first INTERPOL World

MP Singapore appointed to manage ASEAN Tourism Forum 2015

MP Singapore Pte Ltd has inked an agreement to manage the 2015 edition of ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF). The international forum will be held in Myanmar for the first time and will take place in the capital city of Naypyitaw.
The ATF 2015, hosted by the Myanmar Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, will be managed by MP Singapore and the Myanmar Venture Group. It is expected to attract 1,500 attendees from more than 20 countries.
Held yearly in various ASEAN cities, the ATF is the region’s premier travel and tourism fair showcasing the region’s travel products and services. The forum will see the largest gathering of tourism professionals including tourism ministers and officials from ASEAN member countries, China, India, Japan, Korea and Russia in Myanmar.

Second edition of ASEAN’s largest dedicated showcase on Japanese F&B opens
Oishii Japan 2013, ASEAN’s largest dedicated showcase on Japanese food and beverage products, opens on 17 October 2013 at Suntec Singapore with a plethora of the best of Japanese F&B products, technology and services. The three-day exhibition spreads over 4,000 square metres and features 230 exhibiting companies from 26 Japanese prefectures.
The second edition of Oishii Japan caters to the needs of local and regional F&B trade professionals including chefs, restaurateurs, hoteliers, importers and distributors, retailers as well as new business owners and investors in the food business. The expo expects to welcome 6,000 visitors this year. Visitors to the show can expect signature Japanese F&B products such as beef, sake, sauces and condiments, noodles, utensils and tableware as well as F&B equipment.
