MP’s key role was to coordinate with multi-agencies including the Singapore Police Force to support and facilitate the security requirements for the entire venue and the verification of the participants’ access via the RFID and facial recognition system.

The meetings were attended by the ministers and leaders from the respective ASEAN member states and their partner countries. With an event of this nature, in addition to the ability to manage the overall operations and logistics requirements, one of MP’s key role was to coordinate with multi-agencies including the Singapore Police Force to support and facilitate the security requirements for the entire venue and the verification of the participants’ access via the RFID and facial recognition system.

MP was also appointed to manage the overall operations and

logistics of the meeting, which included the management of secondary access control to the meeting rooms through a complicated overpass matrix system.

The setup and management of the media centre was another key element of the media centre. MP supported MFA in the day-to-day operational requirements of the media centre, including the accreditation and registration process for both meetings.

Both meetings were organised and led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Singapore.
