Singapore's Largest Pet Fair!


The fifth edition of Pet Expo welcomed a total of 28,612 public visitors and more than 9,000 pets. It showcased 93 exhibitors spanning over 5,000 square metres of space in Singapore Expo Hall 7 and over 240 brands. The event is organised and owned by MP Singapore Pte Ltd and supported by the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority (AVA) of Singapore.

This year’s event featured art and fashion collaborations with Paul Foster, Vanessa Vanderstraaten, SOSD volunteers, Patrick Bezalel and a Fashion Showcase by Good Dog People in support of animal welfare groups and Design-a-tote activity. Pet owners also learnt more about pet wellness through health care seminars, and visited the first Made in SG-Paw square.

Pet Expo 2018 partnered with 14 animal welfare organizations to promote the adoption of animals and responsible pet ownership.

There were fun pre-event qualifying social media contests from “Can your dog do it in a minute”, “Double Trouble”, “The Bunny in Me” and “My Cat can do tricks too” that culminate in the finals on the show days. Competitive pawrents also joined in the fun by entering their fur-kids in breed and temptation races or took part in the Artsy Fartsy Pawgeant.


The mainstay of the event were the International competitions such as the 15th SKC Grooming Examination & 2nd APAC Grooming Competition, 3rd Easter Eggstravaganza, CFA Cat Show, Combine Dog Obedience Competition and 214th SKC Championship Show and 25th FCI International CACIB Show. Local pet bloggers, WeliveinaFlat and Vanillapup were engaged to provide fellow pet owners and lovers programme reviews, pet product discounts and promotions leading up to the show.

The event also featured its first ever dog fashion runway with handlers and dogs presenting a collection of dog collars and leashes designed by local artists. It was an eye-opener for many, as dogs and yogis practice yoga in the big indoors exuding energizing flows and a display of challenging poses.The event was highly successful and covered extensively on local news outlets such as ChannelNewsAsia, Channel 8 News and StraitsTimes and Lianhe Zaobao, Capital 95.8 and 938Now and garnered 1.3m in PR value.
